I have been playing with all the stamps from my Kit of the months from Unity, it seems that there are always a few favorites and the rest go unused for for a long time. This one I would have probably waited to use until Valentines Day, but since Vaughn is leaving in a few weeks I thought that this would be a nice one to use for a card to give him before he leaves, or to send to him during the 12 months he will be gone.
The heart stamp is from the June Kit "all smiles" the paper is from DCWV.
Happy Day!!!

Love these fruit stamps from Unity, they are so versatile and can be used in so many different ways for so many different things. I have only had limited time to play with them, but did get a few things finished and will share them here in the next few days.
Colored the pear with Copics and used a piece of deep purple mulberry paper I found on the bottom of my scrap basket.

A few cards to share today. One I made for the red, white and black CAS challenge at SCS, and the other one is another card made to send to my hubby while he is deployed for the next year - 25 days let before he leaves...
This is a smaller size card to put in a care package, I still love these papers from Echo Park, and the stamp used for the ticket is from Unity.
Love how this turned out, I used a die from Spellbinders and a stamp from Unity again.

It is a beautiful sunny day here today, so we will be spending some family time outside enjoying the day, and hopefully going out for ice cream :)
One quick card to share today:
The stamps are from Unity April Kom. I am making an effort to ink up every stamp in these kits since I get them every month and often only use a few of them.

It is dark out this morning, more like a fall day than a summer day in June. Perfect morning to get started on Christmas cards...
I love this large punch from ek Designs and have been using it on lots of projects lately. On this one I added glitter to the lattice (not sure how well the picture shows this), snowflakes and sentiment is from Unity.

No White...
I was looking around at SCS and saw this challenge to use no white on a card, and decided to make a card for this, so here it is:
The stamp is from Unitys June KOM, and the cardstock is antique linen from PTI.

Counting the Days....
Exactly a month left before Vaughn leaves.... Seems like there is so much to do in so little time, yes, I know it will only be for 12 months, but we will miss him so very much and he will miss being here with us too, so for now we are enjoying the summer, and spending as much family time as possible. Last night was yet another game night, and it was fun playing Risk (hopefully Vaughn will do better overseas than his army did in the game :)). And of course I took some time to craft, since "me" time will be scarce once dad leaves, and I do have to get some cards ready for us to send to him too.
Here are a few things to share:
I used papers from Kaiser craft Up, Up and Away Collection, and the stamp is from Unitys June KOM. Inside I stamped the "Until I see you!" sentiment.
Here is a Father's Day card that the kids helped make for dad. They wanted it to be manly and Army, and they were happy with this, and dad loved it too.

Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to my dad, my husband and all dads out there!
Lately we have been busy enjoying summer, and trying to spend as much time as a family before Vaughn leaves in a few weeks. Try as we might, but it is impossible to make up for the next 12 months of missed moments together, and I think it is time to just sit back and enjoy the time we have right now, and to stop worrying about the next year.
Made a Father's Day card (the only crafting all week), and hope to spend a few hours later today playing with my stamps.
The stamp I used is from Unity, and the papers are from Crate Paper.
