For You

Can't beleive it is January 30 already, seems like time is going by super fast, guess that is a good thing since that means that in less than two weeks I get to see my husband for two weeks. We had some bad news about our next assignment, we were promised our top choice (Germany), but did not get it, we got one of our bottom choices, so it looks like we will head for North Carolina after this deployment is over next summer. I am not very happy about this, but hope to find out that it is a great place to live (no where near Germany I know), and will try to make the best of it.
I made another gift card holder, and love how this one turned out.

Supplies:
Unity Stamps: Build a Damask and September 2010 KOM
Paper: LilyBee Design, Happily Lost
Cardstock: DCVW and PTI
Border Punch: Fiskars

January 27 FWF

My card for FWF this week:

I love how this one turned out, the papers are Basic Grey "Indie Bloom", I used Spellbinders Parisian Motifs, and the stamp is from the January KOM, not sure where the ribbons came from, they were pieces that I found in a drawer when cleaning this week.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and TFL!

Gift Card Holder

Seems like we always need birthday cards, and almost every birthday gift we give is a gift card, so this week I am working on making some gift card holders, and here is the first one.

The stamps are both from Unity, the cupcake is from the Mix up of Cuteness kit, and the sentiment is from the It's Your Day kit.

This is a quick card that can be used for pretty much any occasion. The background stamp is Inkadinkadoo, and the key stamp is from Rubber Stampede.

FWF 1/20

First FWF for me this year, I made a card using the January KOM which I just got yesterday, and made another card with a really cute cupcake stamp from a kit that I have had for a long time, but had not used any of the stamps yet.

I embossed the stamp to get a glossy look and used paper from PTI.

Inside I stamped "Happy Birthday" and put a strip of the dotted paper on top and bottom of the card.

Have a wonderful weekend and tfl!
