June 14 FWF

Here is the card I made to share for FWF this week. the doily stamp is from the Generations kit, and the little tag is from the Dutch Mustard Soup kit.

I am giving this card (along with a bunch more) to my friends husband who is leaving for a year long deployment to Afghanistan tomorrow morning. This way he will have cards to send to loved ones at home while he is away. Next I will be working on a set of cards to give to her, so she can send him some happy mail too. But first a "fun" road trip with the kids to North Carolina to look for housing for our move next month, this should be the last trip I have to take alone with the kids, before my husband returns from his "trip" to Iraq. YAY!!!

Happy weekend and TFL!

  16. I love that you are supplying cards to this soldier to send to his loved ones during his deployment. What a blessing this will be not only to him, but to everyone who receives one! You have a very generous and loving heart to reach out to others when you yourself must be missing your husband! May God bless you for your loving concern for others.
