Just got the May KOM in the mail yesterday, and I could not wait to use it. Made yet another "miss you" card to send to Vaughn - I cannot wait for the end of July when this deployment is over and I have my husband back...
This is for once a card with no embellishments and those seem to make it through to Iraq the best, but I really like bows and bling, so it is not often that I make a card without any of these at all.
Happy Friday!

Friends
This week I made a matching card and necklace. The stamps are from the April KOM and the paper is from the "true blue" pad from MME.
My daughters current best friend is moving to Alaska in a few weeks, so I made this for Vanessa to give her friend before she moves. It was my first attempt at making a necklace like this, and it was pretty quick, so I think that I will be making more soon.
Love to hear your comments. TFL!

Follow Your Heart
Happy Mother's Day!
Made this brown and pink card, using yet another itty bitty from Unity that I have had for a while and not inked until today. The brown card stock is from PTI (love how heavy their card stock is) and the pink is from CTMH. I added some pink gems to the compasses for a bit of sparkle. I am not sure where I got that crinkle ribbon, but I really like it...
Hugs, Eva

May 11 FWF
Another busy week around here, and like so many other weeks, I have spent too little time stamping, and way too much time cleaning, doing laundry and driving kids around :). I am still trying to use stamps, papers and supplies that I have accumulated and never used, so this week I used this fun itty bitty that I have had for a while and some paper from MME. I colored it with Copics and added glossy accents to the glass (it may be hard to see in the pic), and put some glitter around the edge of the glass for salt.
Happy Mothers Day to everyone, and TFL!

May 4 FWF
For todays FWF card I decided to use stamps and spellbinders from the ever growing pile of stuff I bought but haven't used yet. So I made this flower using a spellbinder die and the stamp is from an older kit called Butterfly Beauty.

Monday April 30
This morning I woke up really early, it was so quiet and even though I do love my kids, it was fantastic to have some time to just do whatever I wanted while the house was quiet. So while I had my tea, I made a few cards, and I really like how both of these turned out.
The stamps are from the April KOM, and I just love all the stamps in this kit. I colored the stars with twinkling H2Os and added a small stick pin to the bow.
I just love this stamp with the little fairy and I think that it goes well with lots of different sentiments, and really like it with this one from the April KOM. I added some glittery stickles to her wings (hard to see in the picture), and colored the flowers with distress markers that I just got last week.

April 27 FWF
This week I have a couple of cards to share, the first one I made for FWF and the second one is yet another card for my friends husband who is leaving for Afghanistan soon.
The papers are from Kaiser, the sentiment stamp is from the Nov 2010 KOM, and the butterflies is from one of the stamp of the week stamps. I got that white ribbon from IHP and the green paper is from PTI.
This was really quick and easy. The sentiment is from the September 2010 KOM, the border at the bottom is a rubon that I found in a drawer while I was cleaning this week - I have no idea where it came from or how long it has been there :)
We are having the post wide garage sale tomorrow here at Fort Leavenworth, so I will be busy getting ready for it today. These garage sales are so much fun, and a great way to clean up before a move. I will NOT be shopping this year (a reminder to myself :)) since we are moving to North Carolina as soon as Vaughn gets home from Iraq in just 89 more days. I have never been to the East coast at all, and we are both excited and a little nervous about this move.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!!
