Day three of Growing in Unity. For today I made this card, using some glimmer mist that I have lots of, but rarely use. Looking at this picture now, I realize that I really must get better at taking pictures, lots of glare in this one....
Don't forget to visit my blog every day, and leave a comment for your chance to win some cute stamps from Unity.
I started out with a kraft card that I sprayed with glimmer mist, then I used Spellbinders to cut a window in the card. I added the dp on the inside and stamped the heart on a scrap of dp too (it is hard to see because of glare in the pic), cut it out and used dimensional dots to attach it.
Supplies:

Paper from "This & That" Lily Bee Design
Red paper from Crate paper
Jillibean Soup pins
PTI ribbon

Good morning Eva. Such inspiration you give to others in so many ways - wife of one of our wonderful service men and a talented crafter. I am just beginning to enter the world of card making and a gift package would make me so very happy. Best of luck with the move!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I think your photograph looks great! Kudos to you for being an Army wife. My mom was one as my dad was career Army and I always said wives were the unsung heroes. My dad went off to Viet Nam for a year back in the 60s....no internet back then...no Skype...no cell phones or texting....just letters. It would take 7-10 days for the mail to reach so by the time you had something in hand it was all old news. But she never complained...it was her "job" so to speak. So anyway, my hat's off to you, girl!
