Growing in Unity, Day 1

Welcome to my first day as the Growing in Unity gal!
Every day this week I will be posting projects I made using stamps from Unity. Visit my blog every day and leave a comment for your chance to win two Itty Bitty stamps of your choice from Unity.

Here is the first project I made this week:

I used a stamp from the June 2011 KOM "All Smiles", and used distress markers instead of an ink pad. The square card was cut using Spellbinders, I inked the edges with distress ink, and I added the green crinkle ribbon to the edge of the card.

Thank you for stopping by,  and don't forget to leave a comment for you chance to win some great stamps from Unity.

Supplies:
Unity June 2011 KOM "All Smiles"
Shabby Shutters Distress Marker
Vintage Photo Distress Marker
Spun Sugar Distress Marker
Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Spellbinders die
Crinkle ribbon

  4. LOVE this one! It is so pretty and soft. I think using the distress markers was a great call because it gave it a sort of watercolor look that is very pretty.

  9. I LOVE how you used the different ink colors. I also love that you didn't make sure that the colors covered only one part of the stamp each. I like how the colors graduate. Great idea!!
